Is my hotel too small for RoomsToMove?
NO. Whether your hotel has a few rooms, or a few hundred rooms, it doesn't make a difference. In fact, RoomsToMove is ideal for single hotels as it enables you to implement a live booking system on your own website without the huge financial outlay that larger hotel chains spend to get the same results.

Can a customer change or cancel a reservation online once it has been made?
Yes and No. In the administration section of RoomsToMove, you have the choice on whether or not you would like the customer to have access to change or cancel a reservation online. If this feature is turned on, then the customer will be able to change or cancel their reservation online as long as it is by a specified period (that you set) to their arrival date.
If this feature is turned off, then the customer will not be able to change or cancel their reservation online and will need to contact the hotel direct.

How long does it take before RoomsToMove is up and running?
This usually takes 1-2 business days. Since the RoomsToMove booking system has the same look as your website, it can also depend on the complexities of your website design and layout.

How is RoomsToMove linked to my Website?
A "Reservations" or "Book Now" button (you decide what you want to call it) is placed on your website usually as part of your main navigation. This is then linked to our RoomsToMove booking system to go directly to your hotel. You will however need to get your existing web designer to create this link for you, or we can do it for you if required, or you may even be able to do this yourself.

Does my website need to be hosted with you?
No. You can continue to host your website with your current hosting provider, nothing needs to change there.

Will I experience any disruptions during installation?
No. Since the RoomsToMove booking system runs off our server there is actually no installation that takes place on your side.

Do I need to install anything on my computer to use RoomsToMove?
No, you shouldn't have too. All you need is a Web Browser such as Internet Explorer (version 6 or above) and an internet connection.

Is the customers credit card charged when making a booking?
No. The RoomsToMove system does not process payments at the time of booking. You will receive an email confirmation once a booking is made and you can then access the card information through the Administration Panel for your processing as required. You should also check that your merchant account allows for these types of transactions as not all merchant accounts are the same.

So, if nobody books a room, I don't pay a thing?
That's right, on the "Flat Fee Per Reservation" package option (Package One) you only pay for a confirmed reservation. There are no minimum monthly fees, no maintenance fees, and definitely no percentage-based commissions. So, if nobody books a room through the system, then you don't pay a thing - $0.00.

What if I don't have a website?
Not a problem, we can create one for you. Webstreet Interactive have a number of options available from template style websites to a fully custom designed website to your specifications and upon consultation with you. You can also have the ability to update your own content on your website at any time, or we can fully manage it for you.

This also then gives you the ability to have your own domain name (eg; www.yourhotel.com.au) and your own email addresses (eg; contact@yourhotel.com.au, manager@yourhotel.com.au) instead of your ISP's.
